Hello, I'm Susan, and I want to express my gratitude for taking the time to visit my website. I am a mother, wife, Certified Special Education teacher, and a Licensed Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. For over 20 years, I have had the honor of working with families and children diagnosed with Autism and other related Developmental Disabilities. I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in multi-disciplinary studies with an emphasis in English and Child development. I pursued a Master’s degree in Education and obtained dual certification in both General and Special Education, focusing on Autism and Related Developmental Disabilities. I then pursued post-graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis and became a Licensed Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in May of 2011.

Throughout my career, I have gained experience teaching one-on-one in homes, providing virtual instruction and consulting for parents online, as well as teaching in traditional classroom settings. I have also provided supervision, behavioral support, and guidance to other teaching professionals in the classroom, along with conducting family trainings. Additionally, I have designed and conducted professional development workshops for teachers and parents. I have hands-on experience working individually with students as an instructor in an intensive private clinical setting, where I taught children and their families the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with a focus on Skinner’s Analysis of Verbal Behavior.

The most valued experience for me has been working with parents. This has been the driving force behind creating AUT 2 Bee Learning, a new approach to learning new skills step by step while building confidence. I aim to provide parents with knowledge and support to make lasting, positive changes. This site is created for you, to demonstrate that I have listened to what matters most to you.

Aut 2 Bee Learning will teach you a lot and help you develop a new way of learning with your child or someone you love who has Autism. Each of my blog posts will include free downloadable resources created by me, which you can use repeatedly. The changes we make together will last a lifetime and make a difference for the better.
